What to expect
Goa Tourism’s visitor directory lists Agonda among the state’s beaches. For an evening visit, distinguish sunset from civil dusk: the sun can be below the horizon while some natural light remains.
The coordinate below is the GeoNames village reference. Different positions along the beach have different obstructions. Check local weather and beach instructions before a visit.
Plan around daylight
The calculation below uses the named reference point and an unobstructed horizon. It is a planning reference, not a prediction of when the sun will become visible behind hills, buildings or cloud. Allow time to reach your chosen viewpoint before the event.
Check current opening hours, access rules and weather with the local authority before travelling. A sunrise calculation does not imply that a gate, trail or beach is open before dawn. No ticket prices or opening times are assumed here.
